STEAMED COD FISH WITH SICHUAN VEGETABLE

INGREDIENT
Ingredients:
2Pc Cod Fish (~500gm)
Mixture:
50g Dried Sichuan Vegetables
15g Garlic, sliced
15g Ginger, shredded
3 Chili padi (seeds removed & chopped)
1tsp Corn flour
Seasoning:
1Tbsp Light soya sauce
1Tsp Seasoning sauce
1Tbsp White rice wine
1Tsp Chicken Powder
2Tsp Sugar
1Tbsp Water
1½Tbsp Shallot oil
A dash of pepper
PROCEDURES
Methods:
1. Clean the fish and place them on a plate.
2. Combine the ingredients listed under ‘Mixture’.
3. Sprinkle the mixture of ingredients, except seasoning on the cod fish and steam for 10-15 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.
4. Drain any exuded steaming fish’s liquid into bowl for step 5.
5. Heat wok with shallot oil and mix in remaining seasoning. Add the liquid from step 4 and bring to a boil.
6. Pour sauce mixture over steamed fish and serve while hot.
