Seared Scallop Salad

Simple yet gourmet-worthy salad topped with beautifully seared scallops, with a tangy mustard dressing.

Ready in 30 mins (4-5 Servings)


1box Seagift Scallop Meat (250g)
2 tsp Sesame oil
2 Garlic cloves, crushed
4 Bacon slices, chopped
300g Lettuce, leaves separated
55g Croutons
Fresh Parmesan cheese

Mustard Dressing
3 Tbsp Mayonnaise
1 Tbsp Olive oil
1 Tbsp Vinegar
2 tsp Dijon mustard


1. To make dressing, mix mayonnaise, olive oil, vinegar and mustard in a bowl. Set aside.
2. Heat sesame oil in a frying pan and add bacon slices. Stir and cook for 4 minutes or until crispy. Remove bacon from pan and drain on absorbent paper towel.
3. Heat 1 tbsp oil on high heat. Add garlic and saute until fragrant. Then, add scallops and cook, and stir for 1 minute or until scallops turns opaque.
4. Wash and drain lettuce leaves, and place them in a large salad bowl. Add mustard dressing and toss to coat evenly. Add bacon slices, croutons and Parmesan cheese shavings, and toss to mix well. Spoon scallop mixture over salad and serve.
