Hot Chilli Prawns


Hot Chilli Prawns

Quick and easy to prepare delicacy. Succulent prawns with a spicy kick and served with refreshing mango.

Ready in 30 mins (12 Servings)


1 kg Seagift Peeled Prawn (deveined & tail on)

Chilli Marinade
4 tsp Cracked black pepper
4 Tbsp Sweet chilli sauce
2 Tbsp Soy sauce
2 Gloves Garlic, peeled and minced
½ cup Lemon juice

Mango Cream
2 Mangoes, peeled, deseeded and roughly chopped
6 tbsp Coconut milk


1. To make marinade, mix black pepper, chili sauce, soy sauce, garlic and lemon juice in a bowl. Add prawns and toss to coat with marinade. Cover and set aside to marinate for 1 hour. Toss several times during marinating.
2. To make mango cream, mix mango flesh and coconut milk in a blender and process until smooth.
3. Preheat frying pan over medium heat. Drain prawns and cook on the lightly oiled frying pan for 3-4 minutes or until prawns turns opaque. Dish out and serve with mango cream.
