Fried Rice Vermicelli with Clams

Treat yourself or family with this quick and sophistocated meal with fresh and meaty clams. The springly-chewy texture of rice vermicelli definetely add some twist to your seafood.

Ready in 20 mins (2 Servings)


500gm Seagift Flower Clams (Lala)
200gm Rice vermicelli (soaked to soften and drained)
3 glove Garlic (chopped finely)
2 glove Onion (chopped finely)
1 Spring onion( thinly sliced)

2 Tbsp Vegetable oil
4 Chili padi, chopped
2 Tbsp Cooking wine
1 tbsp light soy sauce
Sesame oil (dash)
Pepper (dash)


1. Heat vegetable oil in a sauce pan over medium heat. Add garlic, onion and chili padi and saute till fragrant and lightly brown.
2. Add the clams and stir fry for 1-2 minutes
3. Add the cooking wine, soy sauce and dash of sesame oil.
4. Add rice vermicelli and mix well with the ingredients for 5 minutes until it absorb to stock.
5. Adjust the seasoning with pepper. Sprinkle spring onion
6. Serve while hot!
